About ConTEXT

Maggie McKenna, Owner and Project Manager

Maggie (Margaret) McKenna, PhD, MPH, MN is the owner of ConTEXT since 1992. She's skilled in qualitative research and analysis, process and outcome evaluations, evaluation design, questionnaires, surveys, focus groups, and community assessments. With graduate degrees in sociocultural anthropology, public health and nursing, Maggie uses a systems focused, culturally sensitive, and multidisciplinary approach to assess outcomes, impacts, and client experiences in evaluating services, projects, and programs.

 

Maggie has conducted program evaluations for individuals throughout the lifespan from programs for infants and children, youth development projects, family support, and community services for older adults and special populations. She has been an evaluator on multi-year, multi-site projects funded by the Administration for Children, Youth and Families, Center for Substance Abuse Prevention, and Health Care Financing Administration.

 

Dr. McKenna has also been on Clinical Faculty in the Department of Health Services and a Program Manager at the Northwest Institute for Children and Families at the University of Washington.
